The first page is the cover of the book with the club’s 1st logo. The logo is a representation of the pride and love that club felt for their Ciociaro roots and the homeland and the new found pride and love for their new country, Canada. The traditional Ciociara copper “Conca” or water urn is set on a background of a Canadian Maple Leaf. In the heart of the Conca is the Canada Centennial Maple Leaf from 1967, the same year the club was founded.
In the 2nd page, the club’s secretary, Marcello Martellacci writes a synopsis of how and why the club was founded.
The next page is important in that it lists the names that were given to Ottawa to officially register the club. This page also listed the names of the club directors from 1967 to 1972.
The Secretary of the Sports Committee, Remo Mauti describes how the ASC (Associazione Sportiva Ciociara) was started in 1970.
